FPS-Style Mouse Sensitivity

Abstract

First Person Shooter video games use the mouse input to control the aim of the player in the virtual world. While this interaction is intuitive and common, reaching a high level of precision with this style of input is surprisingly involved. This talk goes over some of the nuances with repeatability of interaction, and how highly skilled players ensure repeatability and trasferrability of settings across different applications.
